Cute lil' Puppy

11.02.2011

We had a pretty good time jeering and flouting the devil on Halloween. More like... It gave me an excuse to dress up Micaiah in Hart's old Halloween costume that he wore many years ago. His mom saved it and I'm pretty glad she did. He was PRECIOUS!
It was a little big, so I think we can wear it next year, too! Ha! Much better than being a bald newborn skunk like last year...
My how much different he is in just 1 year! Do I look older and more tired? I think I must...
We went out to my mom's to visit and eat a delicious shrimp and grits breakfast that BearBear, my step dad, fixed!
We enjoyed playing with the animals!
But he absolutely hated getting his make-up done... I'm kind of glad about that. I'm sure Hart is, too!
Nothing a capri sun can't fix.
Later, he got into the bucket of Halloween Candy all on his own...he seems to have a knack for finding the candy bins. He went back to it about 5 times throughout the day.
When daddy got home, we carved our pumpkin... more like.... I gave Micaiah a bath WHILE daddy carved the pumpkin and got the guts out for us.
Due to such a busy day and only 1 nap, baby boy went to bed at 6:30, so we didn't manage to do any trick or treating, but that's okay, because we didn't need a reason to have all that candy lying around! I thoroughly enjoyed all of our trick-or-treaters. Our neighborhood doesn't get very many, but this was our most popular year yet, so next year, we better double our candy stash and burn more copies of Lecrae.

Yes, we gave out Lecrae CDs. And in case you think, "Oh, that's not Christian illegal!" Two years ago, Hart actually emailed Lecrae's record label and they gave us the go ahead to "Spread the gospel!" Pretty cool, huh!? So, it's kind of our trade mark to give out candy, Christian rap cds, and light our Christian pumpkin. You know you love it!

Oh, and my favorite little kid was the one that I put a CD in his bag and he thought "that was it" as in he closed his bag and started to walk away! Too cute! Of course, I called him back and asked him if he wanted some candy, too! That's about as bad as getting toothpaste to a kid anyways!
“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light." Luke 8:16

Hope you had a great one!

Love,
The Traylors
